Match evidence to your actual need
A recognizable client list or certification is not enough. Ask for sanitized evidence that connects the provider’s team and process to a similar device, stage, standard, and deliverable.
- Named delivery team and relevant experience
- Examples of controlled, reviewable deliverables
- Applicable certification scope and current status
- Clear ownership of decisions, records, and changes
- Escalation, availability, and commercial assumptions
Verify the boundary
Document what the provider will own, support, review, or exclude. For multi-provider programs, define interface ownership before work begins.
